Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Intonation Control.
1. Developer
Intonation Control is developed and provided by:
Samuel Eder
Austria
Email: mail@ederlabs.at
2. General Principle
Intonation Control is designed to operate locally on the user's device.
The developer does not collect, transmit, receive, sell, share, or otherwise process user data through external servers.
The app does not require a user account.
3. Microphone and Audio Data
Intonation Control requires access to the device microphone in order to analyse musical pitch and intonation.
Microphone audio is processed locally on the user's device.
Microphone audio is not transmitted to the developer or to third parties.
The developer does not have access to the user's microphone audio.
Any audio data or recordings stored by the app remain locally on the user's device.
4. Practice Data and App Settings
The app may locally store information required for its functionality, including, for example:
- intonation and pitch measurements;
- practice statistics;
- application settings;
- tuning and scale settings; and
- locally created recordings, where applicable.
This information is stored locally on the user's device.
It is not transmitted to the developer or shared with third parties.
5. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
Intonation Control does not use advertising or tracking technologies.
The app does not use analytics services, advertising services, or other services for profiling users.
6. Data Sharing
Intonation Control does not share user data with third parties.
No microphone audio, practice statistics, settings, or other locally generated app data are sent to the developer.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Because app data is stored locally, the developer does not maintain a server-side copy of this data.
Locally stored data remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, for example by:
- using a deletion or reset function provided by the app;
- clearing the app's data through Android settings; or
- uninstalling the app.
The developer cannot access or independently delete locally stored user data because the developer does not receive that data.
8. Network Communication
Intonation Control does not transmit microphone audio, practice data, or other user-generated data over the internet.
9. Children's Privacy
Intonation Control does not knowingly collect personal data from children or from any other users.
All audio analysis and app data processing described above takes place locally on the device.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
If the app's data-processing practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
In particular, this policy will be updated before introducing functionality that collects or transmits user data.
11. Contact
Questions concerning privacy or the handling of data in Intonation Control can be sent to: mail@ederlabs.at
